Birthday DIG ! Hal and I went digging for my b-day

I got a NEW COW dig back Pack for my tools .. A metal BOOZE FLASK
Stuck in the back pack full of grape juice.

Yummy !

FIRST OUT FOR THE DAY - LOOKS LIKE A ANGOSTURA

THEN WE GOT A LITTLE POINT IN TIP IN !

HAL FOUND WHAT LOOKS TO BE A BIRD POINT

A ROUND ROCK THAT IS TOTALLY OUT OF PLACE ! I THINK HAL PUT IT IN MY
BAG BECAUSE MY BAG WAS FEELING EMPTY SO FAR !

BUT THEN YOU KNOW I WAS GOING TO PULL ONE OUT OF THE HAT!
I GOT THIS GREAT LITTLE G10 BULVERDE FOR MY BIRTHDAY !

WE HAD A 1/2 DAY DIGGING AND ANOTHER 1/2 DAY CREEK WALKING

I FOUND A NICE FOSSIL AND SOME STILL STUCK IN THE MATRIX

MAKES ME THINK IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING FROM THE BEHIND!
BUT ITS ANOTHER FOSSIL STUCK IN THE ROCK - I THOUGHT THAT
I SMELLED SOMETHING FOR A MINUTE THERE! HEH

WHY YES, THAT WATER WAS DEEP AND COLD..
AND THIS IS WHERE IT WENT OVER MY BOOTS AND FUNNELED RIGHT IN MY BUTT!

NEW BACK PACK AND FLASK AND A FEW POINTS TA BOOT

NOT A BAD BIRTHDAY AFTER ALL!

Right after I found this point - I broke my NEW PICK ! AGAIN!!!!!!
But lucky for me I will have someone oat work weld it up good as new for me tuesday! Thank Goodness!

I was just hammering away and I hear this PPISSSSSSSSSSSST!!!!!
Hal buried me a beer in the throw dirt and when I finally got to the area I put my pick right into it!
It was wrapped in this paper for valentines day ! heh Ahh,. It was only like 9:30 but I had to drink it because
I put a hole in the can! What a deal! He is a heck of a buddy getting me drunk right after I wake up (by deangela)! heh

Here are a few shots of the wall that we have all cleaned and working good.
THIS is what its like when you get the chance to dig somewhere no other people have permission. We
can keep it all clean and don't have to mess it up when we are done - and we have this HUGE CLEAN WALL !

BOY O BOY DID THIS HURT!!!!
I found the base first - Wedged under some rocks - Then I saw the fresh break - AHH!
The tip is heavy fire popped and the tip snapped right off.
I have super glued it back on for myself though! I am sad it came off so easy! It was under rocks
and I just didn't see the poor guy! Very clean break - I will forget that I glued it in about a month anyway!
