THANKSGIVING DAY DIG PICTURES


 

It was a cold morning .. cold day after Turkey Sandwiches!
We would like to share with you a little Austindigger Tradition and take you on a trip with us to have a
Thanksgiving Day feast in the field... We had our traditional early dinner
and THIS is how it went! - Please sit back and enjoy !

Times are tough for everyone these days.. SO tough that we had to sacrifice our photography prop for dinner!
Penny was a good old bird... and the dressing made was divine!

Here is a little BEFORE THE FRYER pictures for you to enjoy

Penny came armed today! Maybe she read it in her cards that her days were numbered!
Or maybe she wanted to dig a little searching for herself today !

Off to work! HAL has something sticking out of the wall so it was Penny's time to shine!

Then Michelle had this HEART BREAKER kenny sticking to the wall flat as can be!
We knew that is was broke though .. Unless it could pierce that ROCK that it was sticking into!

I started walking around and found a old "Test Hole" of Hal's and thought that I would clean it out
and give it a try .. Saw a little flint in the wall and said what the heck !!

HAL!  Gotta get those eyes checked sometime Mr ! Ohh.. Wait.. naaaaa ! I say keep those
old glasses and I will just dig in your hole areas! Woo Hoo! Too bad its impact fractured ! Still Beautiful!

These next pictures are kind of hard to see , but , there was a beauty of a base sticking
barb out here and I wanted to try to get some shots ! The ants were starting to come out of
the dirt were I was digging - So hal brought out his OWN ants to make matters worse!

The "Midden Army Ants" took care of the little ones.. AND started to attack my flint and my Raid!


Ahh Well... It ended up being a broken - But sure looked good when it was in the wall that's for sure!

Getting kind of HUNGRY after a long days digging - Hal was off in the woods somewhere.
I thought he was taking care of business.. I guess he was cookin up a bird for Turkey Day !

Hay Hal ....... Have you Seen PENNY around?

NEVER MIND THERE SHE IS ! PASS THE GRAVY MAN IM STARVING


We had all the trimmings! Nice sparkling grape juice and a little citrus on the side

We sat down for a little SNACK and PENNY'S name will never be spoken again

TASTE LIKE CHICKEN



We ate our dinner and sang with glee about the finds of the day !
(PS ofcourse I am on the RIGHT - With Hal's eye' and all ya know!)

We were dosing off from all the food (Didn't know that Penguin also made you tired)
and didn't know what was happening around us! Hal's buddies turned into the clean-up crew and were
helping themselves to the scraps .. and whatever else they can get there hands on too!

THEY TOOK EVERYTHING !


AND WHEN I SAY EVERYTHING........ I MEAN EVERYTHING !!!

THE BOWL ON THIS ONE IS REALLY WONDERFUL ! USED FOR A LONG TIME
THAT'S FOR SURE! THIS BABY MAKE ALOT OF MEALS!

HERE I AM FINALLY TO THE POINT , AFTER TAKING MOST OF THE PICTURES,
IT FINALLY WIGGLED! I HAD TO SEE IF ANYTHING WAS UNDER IT RIGHT! NOPE ! HEH MAYBE NEXT TIME!

 AND OFF TO THE TRUCK WITH 30 LBS OF ROCK! AHH!
