Dig for authentic Indian Artifacts in the Texas Hill Country. 
Private pay dig located about 7 miles outside Comfort on Cypress Creek.  If interested please call first for an appointment and directions.  The majority of the artifacts found here are 1000 to 7000 years old, and they include; spear points, knife lades, scrapers, grinding stones, flint flakes, snail, burned rock and much more. We have plenty of diggin’ tools, but you will need a good shade hat and lots of cold water to drink. We are open various times mostly on the weekends and weekdays sometimes.

"Nacho" has 5 x 10 screens that he will load up for you as you sift away though the 
dirt and get the points! He tries to keep the screen areas with elbow room so there
isn't any over crowding of the screening tables. Sounds good to me!

1431 east to 35 north.
Go 35 miles to exit 317 Killeen/Ft. Hood Exit. 
Take a LEFT 
then go 15 miles through town. 
Turn LEFT on FM 2601
and go for 5.8 miles. 
This dead ends into Moody Leon Rd. 
Take a RIGHT.
Then go another 1.1 miles 
on the left there is a blue cattle guard with "CCC" Chrisner sign.  Just go in at the CCC gate
the sign in and pay area is at the first barn with the large dinner bell on the wall.
 

Its 20.oo for 6 hours or 40.oo for the while day. 
 

This is a very large ranch with many fire pits and the surface hunting is wonderful as well! Walk 
around with the cows ! ONLY dig in the open camps or the owner will get cha! He will
ban you from the property as well !
