Working page for the winter weather Finds!

This will be the new working and updated page for the winter months of 2007
starting in Nov. 2007 !  Knowing that the cold weather is
approaching fast, their will be fewer finds so I will combine them as they are found!

CHRISTMAS EVE 12-24-07
DIGGIN' BEFORE CHRISTMAS



I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE A GOOD DAY BECAUSE RIGHT WHEN
WE GOT THERE I FOUND THIS POINT ON TOP OF HAL THROW PILE
FROM THE DAY BEFORE WITH ICE ON IT! ! SO TO START OFF THE DAY
INTO MY POINT KEEPER IT WENT!



HERE IS A GREAT INSITU OF A NICE MARSHAL WITH A WING MISSING
STILL A BEAUTY!

Ok - So it was COLD out side!! But , as the day went on the layers of clothing did shed off

Today looks like it was all about my Base Tang I found! Sorry, not much else for pictures!
I quess I was too excited for anything else! heh


12-8-07 Finds from Hal and I


Sure Hal .. You can dig where I was planning to .. No problem ... I will dig where you were
the other day and got nothing.. as Hal pulls out this GREAT FRIDAY BLADE...
And then got a POKE in the EYE .. From me.. Merry Christmas ! hehhe

But I quess it was ok that Hal got the FRIDAY BLADE.. Because I got to take home this
cute little MONTELL with this great RED STREAK through the center!!! Cool Huh!

These little Beauty's were found only 6 inches apart ! Wonder if they were for the
right and left ear! Anyone want to get their ears pierced today?


This is a fire pit that we just found out about and knew that it was going to be a goner. So a little
crew went out there to do a little salvage archeology before it would be gone.




Now you see it - Now you don't !
Anyone looking for a new house?? I can tell you where there will be a nice one with
a midden in your garden if you are interested!

Hard digging! Weeds - Ants - Sticker Burs - Did I mention ants??? The one complete point that I got
sunday came with a side of crotch full of ants with some industrial bug spray on the side courtesy of Hal.
